Bio: Kate has been with the Internal Revenue Service for more than 25 years as a Taxpayer Service Representative, Taxpayer Service Specialist, Manager and Senior Tax Specialist. Currently, Kate is a Senior Relationship Tax Consultant and the Earned Income Tax Credit Coordinator for Indiana. Kate is active in the IRS' VITA program with responsibility for 23 Indiana counties and more than 85 VITA sites which prepare more than 13,000 tax returns for community residents. Kate is also the Financial Education and Asset Building Subject Matter Expert for her office.
