Bio: Michelle has had a ten-year career in the nonprofit sector, spending the last six+ years at United Way of Central Indiana (UWCI). Michelle currently serves as the Director of Financial Stability. In this capacity, Michelle has worked with various community-wide initiatives focused on financial education and stability. Michelle has recently co-chaired the Indianapolis Asset Building Coalition, currently serve on the steering committee for the Indiana Assets and Opportunity Network, and is a member of the local Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Advisory Board. Michelle is also responsible for managing the network of Center for Working Families (CWF) sites in Indianapolis. In addition to Michelle's work with asset building initiatives, she has several years of experience in grant writing and administration, program and organizational evaluation, and volunteer management.
