Bio: Marie Morse began her career at Homestead in 1985 and became the organization’s Executive Director in 2007. Marie has experience in tax credit financing, historic rehabilitation, first and second mortgage lending, housing counseling, compliance monitoring, program development, grant writing, fundraising, small loan lending, and financial and asset management. During her tenure as Executive Director, Homestead has been certified as a local HUD Housing Counseling Agency, become a member of the Indiana Foreclosure Prevention Network, received re-certification as a CDFI, expanded its’ service area, developed a small loan program and saved over $100 million worth of homes from foreclosure.
