Bio: Carla James started her career in banking, working in commercial credit analysis and small business lending and later transitioned to the nonprofit sector via the Americorps VISTA program. Carla works to optimize the Center for Working Families service delivery model in which bundled services (financial & career coaching and case management) help stabilize financially struggling families with the ultimate goal of seeing them thrive. Carla earned her M.B.A. from the Kelley School of Business- IU Bloomington and B.S. in Business Administration from Central Michigan University with concentrations in finance and economics. Throughout Carla's career, she has helped to identify, develop and launch practical services and processes designed to improve the financial lives of individuals.
